What we collect
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, property postcode, property size, selected services and any message you choose to provide. Please do not include sensitive information, access codes or payment-card details.
Our web server may log technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser details. The form also uses security tokens and limited technical information to prevent automated abuse. It does not create a customer account.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to reply, prepare quotations and take steps towards providing services you request. Where you are the prospective customer, this is generally necessary for steps before entering a contract. Where you enquire on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interests in handling business enquiries.
Security processing is based on our legitimate interests in protecting the website and preventing spam. If you become a customer, we use information to perform the contract and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. We do not add enquiry contacts to marketing lists automatically.
Who receives information
Enquiries are sent to our business email system. Our hosting and email providers may process information to operate those services. Access is limited to people who need it to handle the enquiry or provide the agreed work.
Cloudflare Turnstile: the contact page loads Cloudflare’s security service, which processes technical browser and network information to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Matterport: the example tour is not loaded until you select “Explore the 3D tour”. Loading it connects your browser to Matterport, which may process technical information and use its own cookies or similar storage. You can choose not to load it and still use the rest of the site. See Matterport’s privacy policy.
Property tours are hosted by Matterport. Before a shoot, remove personal items and tell us about privacy concerns. Publication, sharing and any blurring or access restrictions should be agreed as part of the project.
Third-party services may process data outside the UK. Where restricted transfers are made on our behalf, appropriate transfer safeguards must apply, such as UK adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not include advertising trackers or audience analytics. The enquiry form uses a short-lived, essential session cookie to protect submissions. Turnstile and the optional Matterport viewer have their own technical requirements as described above. The preparation checklist does not save your selections after you leave or reload the page.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond, follow up and handle any resulting work or dispute. Customer and accounting records may need to be retained for applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to ask about retention of your particular information.
The form’s temporary abuse-prevention records use a keyed hash of the connecting IP address. They contain attempt timestamps rather than message contents. They expire after one hour and are removed during subsequent form requests. Server and email backups may retain information for longer under their separate retention arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve claims.
Email info@3dtour.site to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not use enquiry information for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
